With eight of the world's highest peaks, Nepal is loaded with spectacular mountain vistas. The name "Everest" is magic in itself. Mt. EVEREST (8848m.) is called "SAGARMATHA" in Nepali-"Higher than the sky" and "CHHOMOLUNGMA" in Tibetan-"Mother Goddess of the Earth". The quickest and easiest way to reach this region is by flight to Lukla at 2853m. The SoluKhumbu region has sweeping glaciers, magnificent mountains, windswept forests, animals, birds, and monasteries and is the home of the world famous Sherpa people. The flora and fauna are rest of other ornaments of the Sagarmatha national park, but the existence of the Yeti remains mysterious. The famous mountain Lhotse, Nuptse, Amadablam, Thamserku, Pumori, and many more.can be seen just in front of your open eyes.

Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu Airport (1345m). There you will be met by our Airport Representative and transferred to hotel by private tourist vehicle. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley . Your sightseeing trip will start at 9AM in the morning after breakfast. We will provide a private vehicle and professional tour guide. Places we visit Pasupatinath temple, Buddhanath, Monkey temple and Kathmandu durbar square. The afternoon includes a final briefing and preparations for the trek. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla (2804 meters) trek to Phakding (2610 meters) 3 hours. An early morning start takes us to Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu for the 35-minute scenic flight to Lukla at 2804 meters. On arrival at the airport guide will brief you and introduce our porters before we begin our trek towards Phakding at 2610 meters. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3441 meters ) 5 hours. Namche Bazaar known as the Gateway to Everest, there are many good hotels and lodges here, along the whole Everest trail this is quite a big village. This Bazaar is the administrative centre for the Khumbu region and has a headquarters for Sagarmatha National park . Historically this place was Sherpas herders and traders.

Day 05: Namche Bazaar Acclimatization day . We will spend a day here in order to acclimatize and adjust to the thinning of the air. As well as a short trek to a museum celebrating the traditional customs of the Sherpa, people to visit. Today we hike up the Syangboche Airport , and around Everest View Hotel. From this point, we can see rewarding views of the Himalayas with a stunning sunrise or sunset over the panorama of the Khumbu peaks. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 06: Trek to Tengboche (3867 m.) 5-6 hrs. The route weaves in and out of side valleys. Making small ups and downs, to the souvenir stalls, teashops, crosses the Kenjoma, and Khumjung villages. On the way of morning, walking you could see the Tahr below the trail and the views of Mt.Everest and Mt. AmaDablam are excellent. Yours walk continue towards the Tengboche through the forest and from Phunki Thanga to Tengboche it takes 2 hour climb and the trail steeply climb the first. Then makes a gradual ascent through forest and around mani stones as it follows the sides of a hill up to the saddle on which the monastery sits at 3870m, in clearing surrounded by dwarf firs and rhododendrons. Kwangde(6187m), Tawache( 6542m), EverestmLhosts,Nuptse,amaDablam and thamserku provide an inspiring panorama of Himalaya giants. This is the religious centre of the whole “Sherpa- land” in fact the entire Solu-Khumbu area. We of course visit the old Monastery and the old designed of it.

Day 07: Trek to Pheriche (4240 m.) 4-5 hrs.From Tengboche it is a short, steep and muddy decent to Devuche through the forest of birches, conifers and rhododendrons. The Himalayan Monal or pheasant we can be easily seen in this route. In the morning and just before dusk you may see the musk deer, especially in the forests below Tengboche. Some Gompas and few house of the tiny village of Devuche are off in the trees to the west and the nunnery is up the hill to the east. On the way, we cross the Imja Khola the route passes the some magnificently carved mani stones to Pangboche at 3860m.Pangboche is the highest year –round settlement in valley. The pangboche Gompa is the oldest in Khumbu and one contained relics that were said to be the skull and the hand of a yeti.Beyound Pangboche the routes enters alpine meadows above the tree line. Most of vegetation is scrub juniper and tundra. Then we walk through the Somare and Orsho village and after Orsho the trail leads to Dingboche and one leads in the left to Pheriche At 4240m.There is HRA and Tokyo Medical collage. A western Physician is usually in attendance during the trekking season from March to mid may and October to Mid December. The doctor gives lectures everyday.

Day 08: Acclimatization Day in Pheriche. You can spend the day many ways. You may wish to declare a rest day and relax in the guesthouse or you may explore some strenuous.
Day 09: Trek to Lobuche (4930m). 5-6 hrs. The trail ascends the broad, gently sloping valley from Pheriche to Phalang Karpo and in many places to crosses small streams of boulders. The views of Cholaste and Tawache are particularly good portion of the trail and then continue steep up to Dugla from where you can see the beautiful views of Amadablam and many more. From here the trail goes to directly up to the terminal moraine of Khumbu glacier for about one hour then turns left into a memorial area known as Chukpilhara. There is row of stones monuments in memory of Sherpas who died in an avalanche during the 1970 Japanese skiing expedition on Everest. In waking of 2 hours, we will get the valley to Lobuche, a summer village at 4930m.If you walk 30 minutes beyond Lobuche you will reach the Italian Pyramid and this Pyramid correctly known as the Everest-K2- CNR. This pyramid used as a base for their studies in earth science environmental science, biological science, human science and technological research.

Day 10: Trek to GorakShep (3-4 hrs). The trial from Lobuche follows the western side of the broad Khumbu valley and ascends gently through meadows beside the glacial moraine. The ascent becomes steeper and rougher as it crosses several side moraines, Although the trail is usually well defined. After rounding a bend in the trail, the conical peak of Pumori comes into views and The “Kalapattar” rock at 5545 m. and the gives the best vantage point for viewing Mt. Everest . If you are feeling well, you can walk further toward the Everest base camp and retuned back to Gorakshep.

Day 11: Trek back to Lobuche (4930 m.). Before back to Lobuche, if you once walk up to kallapattar and view the best views of Everest panorama in the morning. The same way back down to Lobuche.

Day 12: Trek to Dingboche (4343 m.) 3 hrs.and 600m decent. To go Dingboche, retrace your steps bak to Duglha then go straight up the hill from the bridge to reach an upper trail, staying high above the valley floor. Walk on the yak pastures at Dusa to a chorten at the head of Imja valley. The super view of Island Peak and Makalu are to be seen.

Day 13: Trek to Devoche / Tengboche . The same way retrace.

Day 14: Trek to Khumjung. The same way retrace but this Sherpa village is so beautiful. We can visit the Sir Edmund Hillary Hospital and the old house and Gompas.

Day 15: Trek to Monjo. The same way retrace to Namche bazer and A steep descent for 600m/2,000ft down Namche Hill leads to the suspension bridge crossing the Dudh Kosi river and the small village of Monjo (2,835m/9,300ft). Monjo is a quieter place to stay than Namche Bazzar.

Day 16: Trek to Lukla . The same way retrace.

Day 17: Lukla-Kathmandu . An early morning flight gives you time to reflect upon the mountains you have recently visited for one last time while on the 35-minute Scenic flight back to Kathmandu . Overnight at hotel

2. Annapurna Circuit Trek (17days)

Round Annapurna Massif Trek

North of Pokhara, Nepal 's spectacular diversity appears at its finest. The deep valleys and high mountains encircling the giant Annapurna Himal (mountain) embrace a wide range of peoples and terrain, from subtropical jungle to a high, dry landscape resembling the Tibetan plateau. This is the most popular trekking region. It's also among the tamest areas with excellent lodges lining the main routes. There are three major trekking routes in this region: to Muktinath, to Annapurna Conservation Area Project, and a circuit of the Annapurna Himal itself.

Itinerary

Day 01:-Early morning ( 7:00am- 8:00Am ) drive to Khudi which is some 180 Km. and will take some 6/7 hrs. Along the Trishuli and Marshyangdi River popular rafting rivers of Nepal . Passing through the first Gurung village of this trek in the Khudi at 830meter. If the weather is fine then you can see the Himalchulli Manaslu II and peak 29. And overnight in BhulBulle (840m) in the bank of Marshyangdi River .

Day 02:- Bhulbulle to Gharmuphant (1140m) 6hrs. A long suspension bridge crosses the Marshyangdi River and passing through a majestic water fall 60m high that is surrounded by a tropical tree and the path wonder through the small villagers scattered among extensive rice terraces and you will meet as nice picturesque rice field at Ngadi. Continuing towards Marshyangdi river a long suspension bridge that crosses the Ngadi Khola and gently upwards through the scrub forests up to the BahunDanda (1310m.) which means “the Hill of the Brahmins ” the major cast of the Nepal's' midhill. May you are already getting hunger and better make your lunch there. Descend on a steep, slippery trail Then rice field where the water available can be seen. July- October-November is the month they grow rice and millet. March to May you will see & hear the Bird's sounds and newly green leafs of trees. In about 2 ½ hours you get a small Gurung settlement, the flat GhermuPhant opposite of a huge Waterfall where we overnight.

Day 03:- Trek GharmuPhant to the Tal (1700 m.) 6/7 hours. Cross a suspension bridge and passing a small local Bhatties and lodges through the rocky cliff at Syange. Now slightly and gradually the trail is hiking up. Enjoy on Walking with the butterflies & birds through the forest till a small Tibetan village Jagat and then the trail descends & crosses a landslide way. It's then a long climb through the forest & a waterfall to Chamje (1410m). Again, Crossing the bridge & climb through the thick Bamboo and Rhododendrons forest to an exposed trail that traverses high above the steep river bank. The trail makes a short descend to Tal bensi at 1590m then makes a steep climb beside the Marsangdi, which has became an underground waterfall beneath huge boulders. Suddenly opens into a large plateau, the Tal (The valley that was once a lake) now you have entered the Manang District and the Buddhist influences apparent from the small white Chorten on a nearby hill. Actually for those few days the chance to see the White Mountains is less but the hilly mountains also attracts you.

Day 04:- Tal to trek Timang (2510m) - 6 hrs. We will pass number of nice settlements and villages along the route. Beyond Dharapani (1960m) , the trail passes a school and climbs a spur. Nowadays there is building the new roads toward the Chame, the district headquarter which road we follow somewhere. Bagarchhap, at 2160m , is the small village on the trek with typical Tibetan architecture: closely spaced stone houses, with flat roofs piled high with firewood. Walk to Bagarchhap through a forest of blue pine, spruce, hemlock, maple and oak. In 1995, there was a landslide washed & destroyed the village and killed people. Then the trail goes upwards to Danaque at 2210m . You will walk through a new mani wall & huge prayer wheel and a farm of Apple and peaches garden. Then cross a short bride and walk up steep rocky trail through the old thick forest of Rhododendron , Oak, pine forest & colourful flowers. Be aware! Himalayan langur monkey can come close to you. The big sizes of old trees can really attract you till Timang at 2510m and overnight there. The waterfall in Nepal is always great to see.

Day 05:- Trek Timang to Pisang valley (3200m) 6/7hrs. In the morning you can see the spectacular views of Mt. Manaslu Himal just in front of you. Walk on the flat road through the forest and your trail heads to a long wall with many prayers wheels Chame at 2710m . Be sure to walk to the left and spin the wheels clockwise. Chame is the capital of the Manang district situated in the bank of the river Marshyangdi with the view of the Manaslu and Annapurna II . Before to reach Chame, pass the Thachok village with barley field and police check post at Koto. Phone service is available here. Between Chame to Pisang the rainshawdow effect can be seen as the forest become sparser & the density of juniper increases. Cross the bridge at 3040m is the Paungda Danda rock face that arches upwards for more than 1,500m. The trail climbs further to Dhukuri Pokhari with few wooden lodges and Bakery shops then you walk on the flat land into the upper Marshandi Valley & to Pisang, a large sprawling village and Pisang peak. More religious people and has own culture of Tibetan- Manangi. Wheat, Buckwheat, potatoes & beans are produce and Horse is the mail transport of this region. Sheep, goat, cow and yaks are the cattales.

Day 06:-Trek to Braga-Manang (3500m.) 4/5 hrs .This is really wonderful trail with the pastures by the Yaks, Horses and cattle .The trail offers some magnificent sights of the top of Annapurna's After short walk from Pisang village the trail divides and one climbs to the Ngwal from where the view of the Annapurna's is wonderful. We suggest you that Braga village is the quieter then Manang Valley.

Day 07:- Rest in Braga-Manang for acclimatization . The Himalayan Rescue Association and they brief about the High altitude, sickness and the way to be safe from the problems. The Gangapurna Lake is nice to view and one can walk around the town to explore. Explore the famous Milarepa cave in the west and Lama Cave in the north. Visit Gompa in about 500yrs old for spiritual relief in Braga . The Annapurna II, III & IV, Gangapurana himal, Tilicho peak are seen the massive view. You can see the Manangi culture, the old houses and horse racing. Email/internet, phone call & small video movie can use in Manang Valley .
Day 08:-Trek Manang to Letdar (4200m. ) 5hrs. From Manang the landscape is more like Tibetan platue. It seems more gradual rather than up but hard to breathe and take longer time to cover the short distance.

Day 09:-Trek to Thorong High Camp ( 4600m) 5/6 hrs . This can be hard night with the lack of enough Oxygen. Ready to wake up in early morning for the next most excited day at all.

Day 10:-Start the climbing early in the morning. This is the most awaited day for your Nepal trip. The top of the Thorong La (pass) 5416 m . is the highest point for the whole period. You can see the great views of Dhaulagiri (8186m), north faces of the Annapurnas, the Kali Gandaki Valley and Throunghtse (6482m). Muktinath is the name of the Hindu God with the meaning of the “God of Salvation”. The Sep- Oct fest is the most interesting and crowded. Apart from this, this is the greatest example of the co-relation and harmony between Hinduism and Buddhism .(3/4 hrs to reach on the Top and walk down4/5 hrs to Muktinath).

Day 11:-Trek to Kagbeni (2800m) 4hrs . Walk down the Beautiful valley Jharkot with the views of mountains Dhaulagiri & Nilgiri north, and old houses with monastry.Then after the land looks like the moon desert until to reach the Kagbeni. Kagbeni is situated in the bank of the famous river Kali Gandaki and it is the Gateway to Upper Mustang. The monastery supposed to be some 500 yrs old which is situated in the town. Old ruins Upper is only permitted with the special permit granted in the limited number per year with high royalty. That is 700 US $ per person only for the Govt. royalty for at least two people and the trek cost is extra.

Day 12:- Kagbeni to Marpha (2670m) 6hr . Now you are entering the windy gorge until Late. passing Jomsom where the airport is situated with the connection to Pokhara. Jomsom is the capital of Mustang district with the government offices. The Eco museum serves here with the collections of Mountains. Marpha is the village of the Thakali peoples the local inhabitant and the apple garden and apple product is the most popular around the area. Apple pie & brandy is for most of your choice and visit the Tukuchey Distillery.

Day 13:-Trek to Lete (2480m ) 6hrs. Walk the flat roads with most of Apple garden and barley, wheat & vegetation fields. Lete is a small town just in front of Annapurna I near the Police Check post. The trail from Marpha to Lete-Ghasa taken as the deepest gorge in the world. Because the mountain Annapurna I (8091m). and Dhaulagiri 8168 m. high on both Sides of the River making deep valley.

Day 14:-Lete to Tatopani (1190m). Now your all most walk downwards through the green forest & popular for bird watching. “Tatopani” literally means hot water in Nepali and there is the natural hot spring with the small bathing pool. You can enjoy the hot spring pool & relax after long walking.

Day 15:-Trek Tatopani to Galeswore . This is the last walking days of your trek. You walk along the KaliGandki river & through the rocky taperated trail for some hours and then walk on the Butterflies lush forest till Galeswore. Galeswore is very famous for Hindus pilgrims and visit the Famous Vishnu temple.

Day 16:-Trek to Pokhara . Drive to Beni and have Change your vehicle for Pokhara city. You could arrive in Pokhara around 2 O' clock. The Beautiful city in Nepal with the views of Annapurnas. Please enjoy on boating in the Famous Phewalake, if more time you have make a beautiful sightseeing near Peace sputa, Sarangkot, Mahendra cave, Davi's waterfall and many more.

Day 17:-Back to Kathmandu valley with Tourist Bus and get around your hotel in the afternoon.

You can extend your trek to Ghorepani- Poonhil- Ghandruk via Tadapani and even can join with Annapurna Base Camp.


3. Langtang Gosainkunda Trek (16 days)

Langtang-Gosainkund - Helambu -16 Days

The Gosaikunda Langtang Valley Trekking trip unfolds the colourful mixture of culture and religion together with stunning high mountain profile. Though easily accessible from Kathamndu it remains relatively less trekked and unspoiled. Several great days of pleasant walk through dense forest and traditional ethnic settlements takes you to the holy Gosaikunda Lake , while the mountains view are genuinely inspiring. Over the years the Gosaikunda has become one of the sacred pilgrimage sites for Shamans, the traditional witch doctors, as well as many Hindu and Buddhist devotees. A cross over the Laurebina Pass at an altitude of 4620 meter above sea level with an excellent view into Tibet is simply breathtaking. For those who are interested in flora and fauna, it is ideal to visit during March and April.
Itinerary

Day 01. Kathmandu to Dhunche (1937 m): Drive about 8 hrs. to Dhunche overnight rest.

Day 02. Dhunche to Shyabru Village (2087 m): Descend to Shyabru River and trek hill about 2 hrs. via Bharkhu. Magnificent view of Mt. Ganesh Himal, Manaslu and Mt. Kerung of Tibet can be seen from here. Trek for another 2 hrs. through the Jungle and reach Shyabru village for the overnight rest.

Day 03. Shyabru Village to Lama Hotel (2380 m): Walk downwards for about 2 hrs. through forest and ascend for about 1hr. to reach Bombu Village (1850 m.) Gradually ascend through Bombu Jungle and reach Lama Hotel to stay.

Day 04. Lama Hotel to Langtang (34300 m): Trek forward through Rhododendron and Pine forest for about 3 hrs. and reach Ghoda Tabela then walk for another two hours and reach Langtang ( biggest village of the area ) inhabited by Buddhist Tamangs and Tibetans.

Day 05. Langtang to Kyanging Gompa (3870 m): Trek for 3 hrs. through the trail and reaches Kyanging Gompa where you can see local cheese factory and beautiful mountains from Yala peak, excursion spot. Dorja Himal, Langtang Ri , & Langtang Lirung can be seen very close to you.

Day 06. Rest in Kyanging Gompa: Explore Teso-Ri (4984m) peak and day hike around this valley. Go to A famous cheese Factory which was started by the help of Swiss Association for technical assistance in 1995. Langtang Glacier may surely attract if you can walk up on the north of Gompa.

Day 07. Kyanging Gompa to Lama Hotel : back same way down.

Day 08. Lama Hotel to Shyabru Village : Trek back by same route.

Day 09. Shyabru Village to Sing Gompa (3254 m): Trek upwards through the forest of Fir and Rhododendron. The only of human habitations are the shepherd's occasional huts.

Day 10. Sing Gompa to GosainKund (4300 m): A steep rugged trail but adequately compensated by dramatic views of Himal Chuli, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal and possibly Annapurna Range in the west; the beautiful valley of Langtang Lirung in the north. Passing a few huts in the high pasture of Lauribina and crossing a small ridge, have the first look of about a dozen holy lakes; Saraswotikund, Bhairavkund and Gosaikund are the main holy lakes among them.

Day 11. GosainKund to Ghopte (3566 m) 7hrs: Continue the trek over rugged trails and pass several smaller lakes then descend along a ridge to the tree line. Continue to descend to reach Ghopte through Juniper, Rhododendron forests, beautiful water falls and rest overnight at Ghopte.

Day 12. Ghopte to Malemchigaon (2560m): Walk up to Tharepati Danda on a windy ridge at 3460 m from where you can view the hilly terrain. Then descend to a stream & traverse to a Chorten & a pasture, the first sign of Civilization since Tharepati. After a gentle decent through a forest of huge, gnarled rhododendrons, the trails makes a steep, rough decent to the Upper reaches of the Chhyadi Khola.Cross this Khola on a suspension bridge, then makes a short final Climb to reach the prosperous Sherpa Village of Malemchigaon & overnight here. This is a large village with extensive fields of Barley, corn and potatoes. A famous Gompa is brightly painted walls and statues of Guru Rinpoche & his consorts as well as Sakyamuni and Chenrising.

Day 13. Malemchigaon to Tarke Ghayang- Gyangul (2520m) -: From Malemchigaon, the trail descends through jungle then drops steeply through fields. Keep climbing until you reach a Chorten and first meadows of Tarke Gyang at 2590m. This is the largest village in the Helambu and the destination for most trekkers in this region. The Tarke Gyang Gompa is an attraction for the trekkers and has a huge brass prayer wheel. Make a short rest to see around here. Then the trail leaves the village and follows the electricity supply line around the hillside to Parachin. The trail makes a sweep around the wide valley end between Parachin & pretty Sherpa village of Gyangul at 2520m.

Day 14. Gyangul to Malemchi Pul (880m) : the trail drops from the edge of the ridge but son starts climbing through seep forests crossing the number of streams. Visit the large gompa at Sarmathang and your trekking permit will be checked at the police check post. From here the trial follows the ridge all the way down to Malemchi Pul Bazar, making a drop of 1730m.The trail rise and fall along the west side of ridge, passing chorten and Bramin & chhetris inhabitants. At final a large suspension bridge takes you over the Indrawati River into Malemchi Pul Bazar & overnight.

Day 15. Malemchi Pul to Kathmandu : Drive by Bus to Kathmandu . Along this highway you can enjoy to see the green fields and different landscape.

4. Annapurna Base Camp trek(14days)

Trek to Annapurna Base camp (12days)

The trail leads to Annapurna Base Camp and Machhapuchhre Base Camp passing colorful Gurung villages, terraced fields, dense forest of pine and rhododendron. For the spectacular panorama extending to Manaslu in the east and Dhaulagiri to the west including unrivalled views of Machhapuchhre Annapurna, Hiunchuli and others, Annapurna sanctuary offers some of the best trekking in Nepal.

Itinerary
Day 01: Kathmandu to Pokhara (910m/2986ft.)
Our Trekking guide will come at the Hotel an early morning at 6:30 am to pick you up and we walk from hotel about 10 minutes to get bus station. Our bus leave at 7 am to Pokhara.
We drive to Pokhara by tourist bus, enjoying an afternoon sightseeing on the lakeside. From Kathmandu to Pokhara, it is about 206km and it takes 6 hours. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Drive to Naya Pul (New bridge), and trek to Tikhe Dhunga (1495m/4905ft)
After an hour drive to Naya Pul we then commence our trek to Birethanti, a large and prosperous town beside the Modi River . We head up the main trail to Sudami where we climb gradually up the side of the valley, reaching Hile (1495m) before pushing on to Tirkhe Dhunga. From here the trail crosses a stream and then ascends a steep stone staircase to the large Magar village at Ulleri (2070m). 3:30 hours overnight.

Day 03: Trek to Ghorepani (2850m/9350ft)
This is a pleasant walking day today. We trek through rhododendron and oak forests and across streams before making a short, final climb to Nangethanti. From Nangethanti we head up to Ghorepani (2850m). 5:30 hours. Overnight.

Day 04: Ghorepani to Poon Hill to Tadapani (2520m/8268ft)
An early start and an hour hiking to Poon Hill (3195m) leads us to a brilliant spectacle, this vantage point provides an unobstructed view of sunrise over the high Himalayas including Dhaulagiri range and Annapurna range. After spending about 40 minutes on the hillside, we come back to Ghorepani, have a hot breakfast, and start walking to Tadapani. From Ghorepani the trail climbs along ridges and through pine and rhododendron forests to Deurali (2960m). We descend to reach Banthanti, before winding our way to Tadapani (2540m). 6 hours. Overnight.

Day 05: Tadapani to Sinuwa (2310m/7579ft)
Dropping down from Tadapani Gurjung the route offers good views of the upper Modi valley. The path then starts the long ascent high above the west bank of the Modi Khola. We pass the village of Chhomrong which lies tucked at the very base of Himal Chuli. From Chhomrong the trail descends until Chhomrong Khola then trail begins a slow climb as we head up to our destination for the day - Sinuwa. 5:30 hours. Overnight.

Day 06: Sinuwa to Deurali (3150m/10335ft)
We proceed to Kuldi Ghar about 2 ½ to 3 hrs walking. There is a clearing in the forest a little further on, from there the route goes very steeply down a bank of rock and then levels out, running through thickets of bamboo at the bottom of the gorge, keeping always on the west side of the river. We pass by the pasture of Tomo, and then the very neck of the gorge at pantheon Barah, where there is a small trail and a shrine. The track climbs to Himalaya hotel at the campsite where we will overnight. 5:30 hours.

Day 07: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4090m/13418ft)
Today we climb on past the Machhapuchhare Base Camp (which isn't really a base camp since climbing the mountain is not permitted) to the Annapurna Base Camp. This area is called the Annapurna Sanctuary since it is totally surrounded by mountains. From here it is a two-hour trek to Annapurna Base camp, which offers spectacular views. 5 hours. Overnight.

Day 08: Annapurna Base Camp descends to Himalaya Hotel (2610m/8563ft). 4:30 hours.
Overnight.

Day 09: Himalaya Hotel to Chhomrong (2110m/6923ft)
Once we have passed Khuldi Bikas where there is an experimental sheep Farm, the trail continues through rhododendron and bamboo fields. 5 hours.

Day 10: Chhomrong to Ghaundrung (1940m/6365ft)
This is an easy and short day trekking. From Chhomrong the trail descends through forests to Gurjung Khola and then the trail ascends slightly until Kimche, we reach Ghandrunk about noon . Ghandrunk is a village of Gurung people, one of the ethnic groups of Nepal ; they have their own dialect, culture, costume, and life style. Ghandrunk is one of the famous destinations of trekkers for its beautiful mountain views and easy reach from Pokhara. Our early arrival means we have the afternoon to visit the Annapurna conservation office, Museum and explore the village and overnight.

Day 11: Trek to Birethanti, Naya Pul; and then drive to Pokhara (910m/2986ft). From Ghandrung it's easy walking all down hill to Naya Pul where our walking ends. Our bus will meet us before we drive to Pokhara about an hour away. Enjoying an afternoon by boating on the Phewa Lake at Pokhara. Overnight Pokhara.

Day 12: Drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus. Trekking ends.
